Out beyond ideas of

wrongdoing and rightdoing

there is a field.

I'll meet you there.

- Rumi

Whatever challenges you face, there is an opportunity to feel more connected, more alive, and more whole. As a therapist I have witnessed the innate healing potential within every human being, if heard deeply. It can be a scary decision to face the confusing or painful experiences of one's life, but it may also be the most rewarding decision you make. We all desire growth. Being heard by another with curiosity, gentleness, and skill is the foundation of growth in the therapeutic process. I provide a warm and inquisitive environment in which one can explore the experiences of one's life and find meaning, direction, and perhaps most importantly, real joy.

A person may feel that therapy is an indulgence in the self. And yet, by indulging the needs of the self, we are ultimately better able to love, serve, and honor others. An act of self care is ultimately an act of care for the families, friendships, and larger communities in which we live. Whether transitioning into a new life stage, experiencing relational conflict, grieving a loss, struggling with the anxiety of our non-stop culture, recovering from trauma, or just curious about the deeper questions living brings, I provide the space and expertise to navigate your experience with warmth and insight. Change and healing is possible.

I work with individuals, families, couples, and children. I would like to suggest  the following resources as a way to supplement your understanding of the therapeutic process, and provide you with a place to begin asking questions and exploring  answers.
